School and regional museum of Saukkojärvi
In Saukkojärvi village of Ranua, you can find school and regional museum. Museum building was formerly a school (built in 1898) that was working till 1959. Nowadays it serves as school and regional museum in two floors.
Ylimaa battle monument
Approximately 32 kilometers from Ranua, in the crossing of Palovaara road, a monument and a trail for Ylimaa stall battle can be found. Monument was designed by professor Ensio Seppänen.
Vicarage and village museum
In the old vicarage of Ranua, is now a museum presenting life of 1930-1950 parsonage and village.
Ranua Church is a log building, with cross lay out. It has been ordained in 1914. The building has been renovated and nowadays it is accessible with moving-aids and an induction loop has been installed.
